Bullet Stitch

The Bullet Stitch is a stitch made up of a horizontal straight stitch that spans over four canvas threads with a cross stitch over two layered on top. 

In this stitch, the stitches are staggered by row, with every other row lining up vertically. 

Try this stitch in a fine thread like Silk Lamé Braid for a night sky. It will resemble stars!
