Silk & Ivory... the loveliest thread!

Silk & Ivory... it's so lovely. If you're stitching on 13 count and want an easy to use thread. This is the one! (Especially if you're just doing Basketweave!)

Silk & Ivory is a soft wool/silk blend from Brown Paper Packages. It is made in Switzerland. It is designed for use on 13 count canvas, but can be used on 18 count with very tight tension.

It is not quite as shiny as a pure silk but it is incredibly soft and easy to use. Silk and Ivory is great for both new and seasoned stitchers. Silk & Ivory is a "single strand thread" meaning you work with one thread at a time just as it comes off the skein.

We like using Silk & Ivory on pillows, stockings, eyeglasses cases and more.
