Introducing an exclusive Artist Collaboration!
We're excited to share a fun new summer project that you're sure to love today on the blog! Two of our favorite artists- SCT Designs and Stitch Style Needlepoint- have teamed up to bring you a brand new artist collaboration only available at KC Needlepoint.
Last summer, Sara and Jinny decided they wanted to do an artist collaboration together. The pair started brainstorming ideas for a project! Their goal was to some up with something summery and unique that you'd truly want to have in your home. Here was the catch: They also wanted to make sure it was completely self finishing, so that any stitcher could get through the project from start to finish entirely on their own. Sara is the queen of self finishing items, so it's no surprise she was undaunted by the challenge!
They settled on the idea of a self finishing napkin holder and rattan tray. A fun addition to any patio, coffee table or bar cart! Palm fronds immediately came to mind. Paired with stripes, they'd make a fun, elegant summer project. They wanted to come up with something that you'd want to display in your home year round.
Jinny wanted to make sure the project was approachable for all levels of stitcher, so Sara and Jinny immediately got to work. Below you'll find an easy to follow stitch guide for the project along with self finishing instructions!
