Stitch of the season: A Summer Bargello
Summer is definitely in full swing here in Kansas City. We're looking forward to barbecues, spending time on the patio and heading to the beach or lake. What plans do you have for the warmer weather? Drop us a comment below!

Summer is one of our favorite stitching seasons. There are so many great summertime canvases. Which got us thinking... it's time to share another stitch of the season with you all!

If you're stitching by the pool or at the beach, this Bargello Wave Pattern is for you! We always recommend Bargello stitches for water. There are so many different Bargello patterns to choose from, it can be overwhelming to know where to begin. But this one is a great one to start with. It has a beautiful undulating pattern to it that mimics waves. Most importantly, it's easy to compensate, so we know you will love it!

Bargello patterns are always worked over an odd number of threads- typically over three canvas threads or over five. Try the stitch over three for a smaller canvas, and the stitch over five for a larger one.
