Diagonal Scotch Stitch- Reverse
Reverse Diagonal Scotch Stitch is a cousin to the regular Scotch Stitch, however it is worked on the diagonal in a continuous diagonal line. This stitch is the mirror image of regular Diagonal Scotch Stitch, which can be found online here.
It is made up of stitches that span over one canvas thread, over two, over three and then over two again. It looks like a continuous run of small squares when stitched into the canvas.
Try this stitch on areas of your canvas that you would like to have a lot of movement.
This is a great first decorative stitch to try out.
