Alternating Continental Stitch

Alternating Continental Stitch is one of the smallest decorative stitches. It is made up of a combination of Reverse Tent Stitches and Tent Stitches arranged in a tiny diamond pattern. 

Work this stitch in diagonal rows. 

This stitch is great for small areas and anywhere that you want to add a very subtle pattern on the canvas.
