KC Needlepoint Artist Weekend - April 25-27, 2025

While in Kansas City, get to know the team at KC Needlepoint, as well as some of your favorite needlepoint designers including Thorn Alexander, SCT Designs, Ziggy Stitches, Lovevolve and more!

This year we have many wonderful experiences planned for you! The weekend will be held at the brand new Cascade Hotel in Kansas City, MO on the Country Club Plaza. The retreat will begin with stitching in our retreat room on Friday morning at 10:00am.  Lunch will be provided at the hotel.  Happy Hour will be from 5-7pm on Friday evening where you can meet the artists and fellow stitchers while you settle in for a weekend of fun!

Return to the stitching room at 10 am on Saturday. Lunch will be provided at the hotel during the day. Our retail shop will be open all day Saturday. Simply hop on our shuttle to visit the store at any point during the day. Throughout the weekend those attending will have exclusive access to a KCN Designers trunk show which will include a unique design from each participating artist that will debut at the retreat. The evening will end with a happy hour at the hotel from 5-7pm, at which point, you will be able to walk out onto the Plaza and explore the wide variety of wonderful restaurants.

Return to the stitching room on Sunday from 10 am- 3pm, where lunch will be provided again mid day. Trunk shows will continue to be available for shopping. 

If you would like to make a visit to the KC Needlepoint retail store while in town, our shuttle will go back and forth between the shop all three days. 

If you're looking to take a class over the weekend, we will have several wonderful options to choose from. Expert KC Needlepoint teachers and KCN Designers are working up several fun class offerings you won't want to miss out on. Details of all education opportunities are forthcoming and are an optional add on to your weekend experience. Class fees will be billed separately. 

The cost of registration for the weekend of $495.* The registration fee is NON refundable. Hotel rooms will be reserved separately and are not included in the weekend fee. A block of rooms has been reserved at a discounted rate of $199 per night (standard King) or $209 (Double Bedded Room) plus applicable taxes at the Cascade Hotel.
